He passed away February 27, 2005 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years 1 month and 27 days. Albert grew up 3 miles east of Roll, Oklahoma and attended 9 years at Breezey Meadow school and graduated from Crawford High School. In 1943 he joined the Air Force and served in World War II in the Burma Conflict along with serving in India and China. After his discharge he was married to Phyllis Dean Lambert Wright at Wheeler, Texas on October 18, 1949. He and Phyllis made their home out on the homeplace. He was a farmer and loved to fish, hunt and watch sporting events. He was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, his parents, 3 aunts and 5 uncles. Survived by his Son, Charles Wright and wife Jodie, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Melda Dawn, Dustin and Josh and Samuel, 2 Great Granddaughters, Karen Wright and Brianua Wright, both of Elk City, Oklahoma; 1 eagerly awaited Great Grandson; 1 sister, Veda Chandler and husband Winston, Norman, Oklahoma; 2 aunts, Ruby Smith, Wichita, Kansas and Opal Wright, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 1 Niece, Karen Jobe, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 2 sisters-in-law, Shirley Monroe, Midwest City, Oklahoma and Faye Myers, Sayre, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be held March 2, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma officiated by Terry Beals. Burial will be at Silent Home Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
