He came to Roger Mills County in the summer of 1893, where he grew to manhood. He finished high school in Cheyenne and attended Polystechie College in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was married to Oliv e Paschal in 1909 and they lived on his ranch west of Cheyenne until 1918 when they bought and moved to a ranch near Allison, Texas. They were living there at the time of her death in 1951. Hillary continued living in Allison until three years ago, when he moved o Amarillo to be near his eldest daughter. He passed away in the Golden Spread hospital on April 13, 1971. One daughter and a son preceded him in death, leaving two daughters, Mrs. Lucille McMillan of Amarillo and Mrs. Marjorie Cox of Pecos, Texas, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ives Finch, of Norman, and Mrs. W.L. Chalfant, of Cheyenne, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Hillary was a devout chiristian for over sixty-five years. He was a long time member of the Methodist Church at Allison, Texas. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
