His entire married life was spent on the ranch where the childrem were born and reared and from whence he departed thise life July 6, 1940, at the age of 49 years, 6 months and two days. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie Kendall Warren; two sons, John and Tom; one brother, Hillary of Allison, Texas; threed sisters, Mrs. Ora Cross, Mrs. W.L. Chalfant, and Mrs. Ives Finch, all of Cheyenne; and a number of nieces and nephews, two of whom, Charles Henry Cross of Sayre and J.N. Cross of Norman, spent much time in his home. His relatives and friednds who knew him best were touched by his devotion to his family expressed through many sacarifical acts of love. They will always remember him as a man, honorable, upright and fair in his dealings; as a relative whoe place can neere filled; as a neighbor who is greatly missed; and as a citizen of outstanding qualities. Interment was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
