Warrington were conducted at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma at 2:30p.m. on Friday, September 19, 1952, with Rev. Albert T. Trent officiating. Thomas M. Warrington was born in Kentucky on March 15, 1866; and departed this life at his home in Hammon on September 17, 1952, at the age of eighty-six years. He was married to Rebecca Ramsey on October 5, 11892 in Plattsburg, Missouri. To this union six children were born, Mrs. Katie Packard, Mrs. Rebeccaa Sanders, Charlie and Frank Warrington, all of Hammon; Tom Warrington, La Junta, Colorado; an infant son, Clyde, preceded him in death in 1905. Other survivors are his widow, Hammon; Dick Warrington, Lawrence, Kansas, and William Warrington, La Bannion, Missouri, twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great grandschildren. Eight sisters preceded him in death. Mr. and Mrs. Warrington moved to Leedey and homesteaded there in 1903. They came to Hammon in 1919. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Missouri, and had been an active citizen until his illness of about seven weeks ago, which took him from our midst.
