Anna Mae was born in Carpenter, Oklahoma, on May 19, 1923, to Jodie S. Moad and Wretha Nichols Moad. She led a full and adventuresome lifed, devoted to her family, her friends and her faith. Anna Mae grew up the only girl with three older brothers, who she loved dearly. Shed had found memories of her childhood in rural Oklahoma, surrounded by many cousins and friends with whom she remained close all her life. She attended Oklahoma A&M, where she graduated in 1945 with a degree in food and nutrition. She and Howard lived in Fowler, where their son, Criag, was born and later, in Fort Morgan, where their daughter, Danna, was born. They returned to Fort Collins in 1964, where they were both very active in the community. Anna Mae faced her illness with the same intelligence, humor and grace that she did with all life's challenges. She would like to be remembered for her devotion to her family, all her students, her church and her friends. A son, Brent; her husband; her parents; and a brother, Marques, prceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Craig, and his wife, Lynn; a daughter, Danna Hammond, and her husband, Kent; two granddaughters, Laurel Hammond Sattler and Whitney Gray Zollner; two brothers, Quenton Moad and wife, Lucille, and Joe Frank Moad and wife, Sylvia; a sister-in-law, Evie Zollner; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many friednds.
