Surnames: Zybach, Dickey, Venable, Pruett, Burns, Turner Originally posted at: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.oklahoma.counties.rogermills/8617/mb.ashx Anna Drusella Dickey was born near Portis, Osborn County, Kansas, March 5th, 1899, to Richard and Sherlotte Dickey, at the age of three she moved with her parents from Kansas to Oklahoma where she grew to womanhood near Rankin, now Reydon. After teaching in rural schools five years she took up nurse training before finishing she was married to Ernest T. Zybach December 31, 1924, at Clinton, Oklahoma. They have lived on their farm near Briscoe, Wheeler County, Texas since. The last few years her health has been failing. Monday evening, December 4th, about 5 o'clock she passed away in the hospital at Wheeler, Texas, with a severe heart attack. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Ernest, of Briscoe, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Jimmie (Lottie) Venable, Mrs. Roberta Pruett both of Las Cruces, New Mexico; 6 grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Turner, Pampa, Texas; Mrs. Nellie Burns, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; five brothers: Alvin Dickey, Reydon, Oklahoma; Glenn, Sacramento, California; Clyde, Mobeetie, Texas; Howard, Mayfield, Oklahoma; Leston, Myrtle Point, Oregon; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, one brother and two sisters. Funeral services were Thursday December 7, 1972 at 2:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Wheeler, Texas. Rev. Grace, pastor of the Wheeler and Briscoe Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery.
