Dr. Ted Kersh will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rice Funeral Service. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday with the family there to receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Joshua passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2002 in Los Angeles, where he had resided for the past two years. He was 22. Joshua was born on June 15, 1980 in Tishomingo, Okla., to Glenn and Kathy Ellis Blunt. He was reared and educated in his birth community as well as Oklahoma City. He also made his home in Houston for a time before relocating to Los Angeles. Joshua was a carpenter by trade, specializing in cabinet-making. He was creative and artistic and his gifted hands used these traits to craft fine cabinetry. He also created beautiful drawings. He loved listening to music, snowboarding and snow skiing. Gentle and good-hearted, Joshua had a very kind and caring nature. Though shy at first meetings, his endearing qualities were soon apparent to those who knew him best.
