He was 63. Bennie was born to Robert and Hazel (Dildine) Burch on Oct. 8, 1938 in Nowata. He had been a Tulsa resident for 10 years, moving there from Collinsville. Bennie was a 1957 graduate of Collinsville High School. He was a retired plate burner for Framm Steel and a member of the Teamsters, being a past National Treasurer and Union Steward. He was a member of the Collinsville Round-Up Club and drove a school bus for Tulsa Public Schools last year. He is survived by his son, Robert Burch of Tulsa; step-sons, Jim and Adam Carney, both of Collinsville; daughters, DeEdra Myers of Claremore and Stacy Bradley of Owasso; brother, Don Burch of Collinsville; sisters, Beulah Hunter, Betty Nell Nash, Scarlett Nash, LaDonna DeArmond and Sandra Hunt, all of Collinsville, Louise Spencer of Owasso, Shirley McGuire of McAlester, Linda Goodhue of Tulsa and Phyllis Phillips of Claremore; and five grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at the Collinsville Church of The Nazarene in Collinsville with Rev. Jim Carney and Rev. Wayne Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Relocated Cemetery in Nowata.
