Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home until 8 this evening. Raylene was born on Aug. 20, 1941 in Claremore to Ray and Velma Ferrel Moore. She was reared and educated in Claremore, graduating from Claremore High School with the class of '59. Just two years after her graduation, she married and became the proud mother of a son and daughter. During the time the children were growing up, the family made its home in Catoosa and Tulsa. When it became necessary for Raylene to support her family, she worked as a quality controller at a printing business in Tulsa. On New Years Eve, 1987, Raylene and John Paul Breashears were married at Miami, Okla. They resided in Tulsa until his passing in 1993. Raylene lived in Claremore and Tulsa off and on through the years. She worked at the Print Shop in Claremore for some time and was most recently employed at the Professional Image Print Shop in Tulsa, a job which required precision and exactness. Raylene's family was her life. Her only grandchild, 12-year-old Houston, was her pride and joy. She loved watching him perform and he was always proud to have "Dootie," the nickname he gave her as a baby, in the audience or stands, cheering him on. She also enjoyed watching women's college basketball, a game she had played in school, on television. Her quick wit and clever sense of humor made family gatherings delightful events. Last Sunday's get-together will be a treasured memory for family members who enjoyed those special times. Raylene is survived by her children, Cheryl Conner of Tulsa and Kevin Conner of Collinsville; grandson, Houston Conner of Catoosa; sisters, Jean Fleming of Tulsa and Polly Roper of Oologah; brothers, "Butch" Moore of Oologah, "Bud" Moore of Foyil, Tommy Moore of Claremore and Gary Moore of Tulsa; step-sister, Elaine Blevins of Claremore; step-mother, Anna Mae Moore of Claremore; and numerous nieces and nephews. ************************************************************************* We thank the Claremore Progess Newspaper for allowing us to post these obits on the Rogers Co., OK USGenwebpages http://www.claremoreprogress.com/ *************************************************************************
