Gene VanAlstyne officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home until 8 p.m. Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. Dennis died Friday, May 24 at the Claremore Nursing Home at the age of 57. The son of Willie and Julia Brown was born Nov. 25, 1944 in Broken Arrow. Dennis attended school at Okmulgee Tech. and was employed as an automobile painter. He moved to Claremore 20 years ago from Red Fork, Okla. On April 1, 1992, in Bartlesville, Dennis married Dayle H. Marshall and they made their home in Claremore. Dennis is a Sac and Fox and Creek Indian, and a member of the Foyil United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dennis is survived by his wife, Dayle of the home; step-daughter, Renee Ashbridge of Lowell, Ind.; half- brother, Roy Wolf of Claremore; and grandchildren; Zachary Knight, Kyle Kraatz, Kayla Kraatz, Toree Ashbridge, Aaron and Darrin Knight, and Stephanie Knight. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 6600 S.
