He was 77. Delmar was born on June 12, 1925 to William L. and Ruby Brown, who preceded him in death. He grew up in the Catoosa and Claremore area and spent much of his life traveling with his welding job. When he became disabled, he returned to the family home in Catoosa. He later moved to Claremore, where he loved raising chickens and rabbits. His hobbies were gardening, fishing and hunting. He is survived by four children and numerous grandchildren, who reside in Arizona; and four sisters, Vivian Blackburn of Palmdale, Calif., Wanda Richards of Jenks, Bertha Brown of Catoosa and Freda Pike of Silverton, Ore. He was buried beside his parents at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore.
