Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, under direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service. Minnie passed away Thursday, June 6, 2002 in Kingfisher Regional Hospital at the age of 89. The daughter of Charles and Stella Peacock Duncan was born March 2, 1913 in Muskogee. On Jan. 5, 1928 she married A.K. "Tobie" Brunson in Ft. Smith, Ark. To this marriage six children were born - three boys and three girls. In 1951 the Brunsons moved to the Oologah area, where she lived for a few years before moving to Inola. She attended the Church of God Seventh Day and served as church camp cook for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, doll making and her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tobie; daughter, Dorothy "Bobbie" Harris; grandchild, Delbert Brunson; sisters, Daisy VanBrunt and Jean McCoy; and brothers, Levi and Marvin Duncan. Survivors included sons, Aaron and Alma Brunson of Claremore, Ray and Joan Brunson of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Bill and Peggy Brunson of Oologah; daughters, Betty and Lawrence Eddy of Tiawah and Patsy and John Adams of Sun City, Ariz.; grandson, Robert Hendershott of Phoenix, Ariz. (Bobbie's son who Minnie raised); brother, John and Mildred Duncan of Oak Dale, Calif.; sisters, Eva Davis and Maxine and Herb Hansen, all of Roseberg, Ore.; 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great- grandchildren.
