Dixon Former Claremore resident Doty D. Dixon passed away Saturday, April 6, 2002 at Indian Rivers Center in Melbourne, Fla. He was 85. Doty was born June 21, 1916 in Conway, Mo. He was a resident of Claremore for 43 years and a past Master of Masonic Lodge No. 53 in Claremore. He is survived by his wife Norma of the home; sons, Darryl and wife Cathy of Melbourne, Fla., and Larry of Palm Springs, Calif.; granddaughter, Kristin and husband Steven and family, Colton, Kalin and Karlie; sisters, Edith Millkin, Verna Chambers, Wilma Smith, all of Claremore, Bertha Fry of Oklahoma City and Wanda Purkey; brother, Claude Dixon of Catoosa.
