"Hank" Draeger 82, member of an early day Chelsea family, died Tuesday morning following an illness of some two weeks. He was with his daughter, Mrs. Norman Bodinger at Monument, Colorado. In failing health for some time, Draeger had been in a nursing home in Colorado . Until going to Colorado about two years ago, Draeger lived in Claremore. He moved there from Chelsea, coming here following his retirement. At one time he and his brother, Richard C. Draeger operated the Draeger Brothers Grocery here. He was a long time oil company employee. He began work in the local oil fields. Later he worked at other oil fields in Oklahoma and Kansas. He was a veteran of World War I. Draeger was a member of the Christian Church and American Legion. Surviving is his daughter Pauline Bodinger; two granddaughters; a brother and sister Otto Draeger of Houston, Texas; and Mrs. Chester A. (Clara) Cherrington. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Kate Newman Draeger. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetary at Claremore under direction of Paul Merriott Funeral Service. ***********************************************************************
