Ms. Guthrie was born July 9, 1924 in Hannah, Okla. to James and Roxie Hendley Pendley. She was a Claremore area resident for the majority of her life. She was active with the Assemblies of God church and avid student of the scriptures. She enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens. She is survived by a son, Rev. Bill Guthrie of Tulsa; daughters, Debbie Guthrie and Sharon "Bobbi" Upton, both of Springdale; sister, Pattie Wilkins of Springdale; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the 1st Assembly of God Church in Bentonville, Ark., with Rev. James Longmate officiating. Interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Visitation will be Friday, beginning at noon with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. Memorial contributions may be made to East Gate Assembly of God Building Fund, P.O.
