'Wally' Hack Ewald P. "Wally" Hack, formerly of Oak Park, Mich., died Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in Waltonwood of Canton. He was 91. Wally was the beloved husband of Jennie H. (Johnstone) Hack, whom he married Oct. 15, 1935 in Detroit, Mich. She preceded him in death on Oct. 7, 1993. He is survived by his children, Julie and husband John Nakonezny of Claremore, Janet and husband Jerry Badarak of Howell, Mich. and Patricia and husband Jim Howard of Belleville, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Amerlia Gunsberg of Plymouth, Mich. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 E. Washington St., Howell. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, with 7 p.m. scripture service at MacDonald's Funeral Home, 315 N. Michigan Ave., Howell. (517) 546-2800. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Howell.
