Wanda Hitt

DARROUZETT - Wanda Hitt, 60, died Tuesday, March 16, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Darrouzett 
with the Rev. Gary McDonald officiating. Burial will be at Darrouzett 
Cemetery by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.

Mrs. Hitt was born in Claremore, Okla., and grew up in Big Lake. She 
graduated from high school in Borger in 1957. She was employed as a sales 
clerk in various department stores in Borger until her marriage.

In 1969, Mrs. Hitt moved to Darrouzett. She was a member of the Church of 
Christ and past member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She married Haskel Hitt in 1958.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael Dean Hitt of Jackson, Miss.; 
a daughter, Rhonda Howard of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church of Darrouzett or a 
favorite charity.
