W. Hale, 95, pioneer Grady area physician, died Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital. Dr. Hale had made his home at 1441 Wallace since retiring from practice, 20 years ago. He came to the Grady area in 1907 and had continued his work in that vicinity until retirement. Services are tentatively set for Thursday. Dr. Hale is survived by his wife, Nina, and two sons, Dr. P. E. Hale, 2512 Axtell, and O. M. Hale, 824 W. Christopher Drive. --The Clovis News-Journal, Clovis, New Mexico, 16 February 1965 DR. J. W. HALE Funeral services for Dr. J. W. Hale, 95, who died Tuesday will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Central Baptist Church with Rev. Earl R. Lanntroop officiating. Dr. Hale is survived by his wife, Nina; two sons, Dr. Pryde E. Hale and Otis M., both of Clovis; a brother, George H. [sic - should be George M.] of Pine Bluff, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. J. L. Cruce, Brownfield, Tex., Mrs. Bell Allston, Graham, Tex., and Mrs. Lula Dowdy, Amarillo, Tex; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews: John Pryde Hale, Dr. William T. Hale, Albert Priebe, John L.
