(Babb) Hamilton Funeral services for Mildred T. Hamilton, 95, of Catoosa, Okla. were at 3 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2002 at the Amis-Kennard Funeral Home Chapel in Catoosa. Interment followed at the Dick Duck Cemetery in Catoosa with Rev. Trent Baggett officiating. Both services and interment were under the direction of Amis-Kennard Funeral Home in Catoosa. Mildred was born on Feb. 21, 1907 in Nowata to Charles T. Babb and Ina Holstin Babb. She attended Nowata Public Schools. She took great pride in being a wife and devoted care giver and friend to many. She was married to Paul Hamilton in 1934 in Nowata. Mildred was a secretary and bookkeeper for the McNabb Coal Company for 49 years. She was a member of the Disciple United Methodist Church in Catoosa. She was a leader in many church and civic functions and had been a Catoosa Citizen of the Year. Mildred departed this life on June 28, 2002 at the age of 95 years in Flower Mound, Texas, where she had lived the past two years. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Virginia Snelling and Helen Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews.
