Elsie Johnson

Funeral services for Elsie Johnson were 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2003 at 
Heath Memory Chapel with Rev. Roger Ballard officiating. 

Elsie passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003 at the age of 95 years, three 
months and nine days.

She was born Oct. 5, 1907 in Kosse, Texas to Calvin and Myrtle (McAnulty) 
Suffridge. 

She was retired from St. Francis Hospital, where she worked as a Licensed 
Practical Nurse. She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church.

Elsie is survived by daughter, Patricia Sue Arnold and husband, Bill of 
Broken Arrow, son, Don Ray Johnson and wife, Betty of Claremore, sister, 
Doris Hayman of Pittkin, La., nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 
and three great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richard Dick Johnson, 
her parents, one son, Bobby Richard Johnson, two brothers and two sisters.
