Born in Tiawah on March 26, 1921, Pauline was the daughter of James and Mertie Tackitt Arrowood. One of nine children, she was reared and educated in Claremore. Shortly after her school years, Pauline met Clarin Delno Jennings. The couple married on March 16, 1938 in Claremore. Three children blessed this union. They made their home in Tulsa for many years, with a time in California early in their marriage. Mr. Jennings passed away in 1973 and Pauline moved back to her hometown of Claremore in the late 1970s. Pauline was a homemaker in the finest sense. She was a good cook and loved to sew, quilt and crochet. "Grandma Polly" was the heart of her home. Her family was her first priority and family gatherings were her favorite social events. She also enjoyed her associations with friends at the Senior Center. Pauline is survived by her children, Barbara Schell of Tulsa, Duane Jennings of South Korea, and Doug Jennings of Catoosa; seven grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. ************************************************************************* We thank the Claremore Progess Newspaper for allowing us to post these obits on the Rogers Co., OK USGenwebpages http://www.claremoreprogress.com/ *************************************************************************
