Linn 1919-2005 Meram A. Linn, long-time resident of Broken Arrow, died at St. Francis Heart Hospital in Tulsa, Tuesday, September 27, 2005, after a sudden illness. She was 86. She was born July 23, 1919, at Sperry, OK., to Issac N. and Lottie Pearl Fields Ward. She married Ross P. Linn on Dec. 22, 1935, at Chelsea, OK. They pastured several Assembly of God Churches in NE Oklahoma for many years. He preceded her on Nov. 28, 1973. She had lived in Broken Arrow for the last 20 years, moving from Afton. She worked for ORU for several years in the correspondence department. She is survived by three sons, John Linn of Afton, Lonnie Linn and wife, Tisha, of Afton, and Ronald Linn and wife, Kathy, of Broken Arrow; two daughters and their husbands, Wanda and J.L. "Pete" Mcgowan, and Sue and James Bryant, all of Broken Arrow, two sisters, Lucy Hefner of Chelsea, and Doris Payne of Foyil; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great- great-grandchild. A funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, Sep. 30, 2005, at Broken Arrow Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bill and Joe Ann Storie officiating. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery in Chelsea, under the direction of Adcock Funeral Home of Afton. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at Broken Arrow Assembly of God Church.
