Interment will follow in the Chelsea Cemetery, under the direction of Seaman-Blanke Funeral Service of Chelsea. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Ralph died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003 at the Veterans Center in Claremore. He was 92. Ralph Howard McKay was born Oct. 25, 1910 in Alluwe to Alvin and Nancy Rebecca (Baker) McKay. He served in the Army from April 1943 until December of 1945. On Feb. 21, 1953, he married Doris McDonald in Newton County, Ark. He retired from American Airlines, where he worked as a welder. He was a member of the Central Christian Church, where he served as a Deacon and was a member of the American Airlines Transportation Workers Union. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marsha McKay Jones on Aug. 12, 1992; sister, Coletta Pannell on Jan. 14, 2003; and two grandchildren, Talena and Katrina.
