Friends may visit until 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Geary (Okla.) Cemetery. Bill passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003. He was 70. Bill was born in Claremore on July 20, 1932 to parents Joe and Frances Mae Ray Mouton. He was reared and educated in Claremore before entering the Air Force. Following his honorable discharge four years later, Bill worked on the pipeline in Minnesota. While in Minnesota, he met Gwenith Preston and the couple was married in 1953. Bill and Gwenith were blessed with seven children and made their home in Claremore as well as other Oklahoma communities. He supported his family as a cattle rancher. As his children grew up and married, they blessed his life with his treasured grandchildren. On April 9, 1992, Bill married Juanita Vandeveer Bradney in Geary and the Claremore/Talala area has been their home since. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening and was particularly fond of his beautiful red roses. He was a hard worker, self-confident and strong. According to his grandchildren, "He was cool". Those who survive and carry treasured memories of Bill include his wife, Juanita of Claremore, children, Deborah Fultz and Terrence Mouton of Stillwater, Steve Mouton of Bakersfield, Calif., and Brad Mouton and Teresa Mouton, also of Stillwater, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two sisters, Shirley Froman of Claremore and Dorothy Dewey of Chelsea.
