He was born in Chelsea on January 23, 1926 to Walter & Cricket (Shepard) Meyers. Walter married Maudie (Grunden) & they had 2 sons, Gary & Mike. Walter worked as a pipe fitter for Sun Oil Company & retired after 26 years. In his retirement, Walter enjoyed fishing & playing bingo. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Maudie of the home; sons, Gary & his wife Terry, Mike & his wife Louise; grandchildren, Heather, Dorothy, Alex Nick, Shena, Vicki, Tina; & great-grandchildren Kolby, Draven, Courtney, Latricia, Emilee, Alan, & Chelsea. Walter will be deeply missed by those who knew & loved him. A private family memorial service was held Monday afternoon.
