Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. Services and interment will be under the direction of Amis-Kennard Funeral Service in Catoosa. Jimmy was born on May 4, 1941 in Tahlequah to Ralph Marlar Pitts and Neoasha Carson Pitts. He attended Will Rogers High School and Tahlequah Public Schools. Jimmy was a Union Electrical Journeyman. He served in the United States Army 101st Air Borne Division. Jimmy was a member of the Moose Lodge 862 in Tulsa and local 584 IBEW. Jimmy departed this life on Dec. 1, 2002 in Claremore, Okla. at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Pitts of the home; children, Richard Pitts and wife, Angela of Collinsville, Kim Pitts of Las Vegas, Nev., and Brandon Pitts of Tulsa; sister, Judy Holcomb of Tulsa; brother, Ralph W. Pitts and wife, Shirley of Tulsa; grandchildren, Ashley Pitts, Rachael Pitts, Hailee Pitts and Jeremy Pitts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
