Dr. Scott Newton will officiate. Karen passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002. She was 42. Karen was born on March 14, 1960 in Tulsa, to Leroy and Martha Harris Duvall. She was reared and educated in Tulsa until her sophomore year of high school. She graduated from Chelsea High School and then attended Rogers State University. On Jan. 4, 1980, Karen and Thomas Patterson married at the Washington Baptist Church. Claremore has been home throughout their years together. Karen was a devoted wife and mother. Her ever-present smile will be missed. She is survived by her husband, Tom of their home children, Stephen T. Patterson and Melissa A.
