She was a third generation member of two pioneer Rogers County families, the Alltons and Settles. Blanche was born in Claremore on Dec. 31, 1907 to William H. and Louann Settle Allton. She graduated from Claremore High School in 1925, moved to Amarillo in 1926 and married Frank S. Pollock on July 8, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Lucille Allton Cline; brother, Frank Allton; and nephew, Thomas Dewey Cline Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Martha Sloan and husband Bob of Dallas, Texas; brothers, William O. Allton of Cushing and Charles Allton of Miami, Okla. Others who will greatly miss her are nephews, Bill Cline of Colorado Springs, Colo., Gene Allton of Corpus Christi, Texas, Steve Allton of Houston, Texas, Tom Allton of Miami, Okla., Billy Joe Allton of Cushing; and nieces, Alice Cline Farbro of Claremore, Norma Allton Rohwer of Roswell, N.M., Pat Allton Matthews of Broken Arrow, Carol Allton Essex of Miami, Okla.; and numerous great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews and many cousins.
