Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Talala. She died in Claremore on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002 at the age of 92. Lucy was born Jan. 24, 1910 to Ed and Ida Mae (Bright) Dikeman. She was a life- long resident of the Oologah area, having spent her last three years in Claremore. She attended First Baptist Church in Talala, was a Charter member of the Oologah Eastern Star and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was married to Clint Whisenhunt in 1927 until 1956. On Dec. 19, 1967, she married Paul Reeves in Sapulpa. He passed away on March 22, 1976. She is survived by her son, Norman H. Whisenhunt of Tulsa; daughter, Sharon Smith of Oologah; grandchildren, Brad Smith, Greg Smith, Stephen Whisenhunt and Jeffrey Whisenhunt; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Smith, Shelby Smith, Andy Hall, Abby Hall, Brittny Whisenhunt, Kimberly Whisenhunt, Khristian Whisenhunt and Skyler Whisenhunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands; granddaughter, Carol Marie Whisenhunt; and great-grandson, Karl Jaymz Whisenhunt.
