All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Round Springs Cemetery--Delaware County OK The Grove Sun Daily Mary Helen Rogers 1938-2005 JAY, Okla. - Mary Helen Rogers, 67, of Jay, OK was born Aug. 5, 1938 in Claremore, OK the daughter of Rabbit and Bessie Tanner Boney and died Sept. 16, 2005 at the Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Rogers was united in marriage to Bobby Dean Rogers Dec. 24, 1963 in Grove, OK and he preceded her in death Aug. 15, 1995. Mrs. Rogers was first employed in sales for the Delaware County Lumber Company, was later employed by the Jay Tag Agency and then was employed by Yale Cleaners in Tulsa, OK Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed reading the bible, enjoyed getting together with family and talking with friends on the phone. She liked to work crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her granddaughter. Survivors include a son, Barry Joe of the home, a sister, Bertha Mae Teague of Jay, a granddaughter, Phoenix Karleigh-Dean Rogers, numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, May. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Paul Boney and Willis Fox. Funeral services will be Wed. Sept. 21, 2005, 2:00 PM at the Assembly of God Church in Jay, OK with Pastor Larry Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Springs Cemetery.
