William Raymond Rickard

Services for Claremore resident William Raymond Rickard were 2 p.m. Tuesday, 
Jan. 14 at the Turner Funeral Chapel in Langley. Burial follows at the 
Spavinaw Cemetery in Spavinaw.

William passed away the morning of Saturday, Jan . 11, 2003. He was 92.

William was born Feb. 3, 1910 in Paris, Mo. 

He was married to Sylvia Belle Griggs on Oct. 13, 1930. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Willie Rickard, and brothers, 
John Francis and C.M. Rickard.

William is survived by his wife, Sylvia, of the home, son, Donald Rickard of 
Catoosa, grandchildren, Suzanne Sneed of San Antonio, Texas, and Jim Rickard 
of Claremore, three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, sister, 
Wilma Jean Walkup of Stoutsville, Mo., and a host of nieces, nephews, family 
and friends.
