Reed passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 in Tulsa. He was 80. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 in the Claremore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Lone Elm Cemetery in Claremore. Ralph was born Aug. 18, 1922 in Keota, Okla., to Andrew Jackson and Dora (Thrasher) Reed. He was an oiler for Anchor Stone Co. for 23 years. Ralph was a member of the Collinsville Roundup Club and Coon Hunters Association. He enjoyed working his garden and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Reed, in 1987. Ralph is survived by children, Pasty and husband Everett Cox of Catoosa, Kathy Neuman of Claremore, Jerry and wife Marilyn Reed of Skiatook, Danny and wife Judy Reed of Glenpool, Mary and husband John Terry, Tricia Whitney Ward and Ralph M. Reed Jr., all of Tulsa; siblings, Leon Reed of Ft. Smith, Ark., Norma Jean Babbs of Oklahoma City and Bonnie Johnson of Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
