Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation was Monday at the funeral home. Rosetta died Friday, Sept. 6, at Wood Manor at the age of 83. The daughter of Lafe and Lizzy McCubbin Brooks was born May 8, 1919, in Breckinridge, Mo. Rosetta graduated from high school in Oxford, Kan., and married Henry Arthur Rutter on June 15, 1940. They owned and operated the Hi-Lift Marina at Grand Lake from 1961-71 and moved to Claremore in 1970. Henry invented the Hydrohoist, and they established their business in Claremore. Rosetta was a member of the Elks Lodge in Claremore. Rosetta was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1992; her parents; four brothers, and five sisters. She is survived by her children: Wayne B. Rutter and wife, Kathy of Kansas City, Mo., Stanley C. Rutter and wife, Cindy of San Diego, Calif., and Betty M. Willis and husband, Ed of Claremore; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Green Country, 1005 Archer Drive, Claremore, OK 74017.
