She was 66. Millie was born on Sept. 17, 1935 in Claremore to Leyton Everett Yates and Lucille Frances Blakely Yates. She graduated from Claremore High School and the University of Arkansas. Millie was a retired music teacher and an accomplished pianist before being stricken by rheumatoid arthritis. She was an expert bridge player and loved competition. She enjoyed traveling and loved her church and everyone in it. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines, always helpful and willing to do for others. Millie is survived by her sister, Ruth Evelyn Lee Master Hasty; children, Michael John (Tracy) Hodges, Mary Lynn Imes and Leigh Ann Hodges; grandchildren, Amy Noel and Ashely Nicole Imes, Jesse Lee and Stephanie Nicole Hodges; niece, Marilyn Lee Master Stangl; nephew, Lester (Shirley) Hasty Jr.; six grand-nieces and nephews. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, First Southern Baptist. Services under the arrangement of Adrian Comer Garden Chapel, Pueblo, Colo.
