He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps and later became an Air Force pilot, attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He was a member of the Elks Club, American Legion and Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church. Frederick was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Stipp. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Esther Stipp; daughters, Kristine Acord of Loganville, Ga., and Karen Weller of Shreveport, La.; son, Fred Tenzer of Stowe, Ohio; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002 at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church with Father Jim Henault serving as celebrant. Arrangements are by Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, Ga.
