Edna Beulah Steidley

Funeral service for Edna Beulah Steidley will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6 at Memorial Heights Baptist 
Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith 
Funeral Service. Visitation will be at the funeral home 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Edna died Sunday morning, June 2 at her home in Tulsa at the age of 87.

Edna was born June 25, 1914 in Tollar, Texas. 

The family moved to Broken Arrow where she attended school and graduated from high school. 

On Feb. 3, 1934, Edna married Theodore E. Steidley in Claremore where they made their home. 

Edna worked for Anthony's for 26 years and then went to work with her husband at his business, 
Steidley's Construction, for several years. 

She was an active member of Memorial Heights Baptist Church and a past member of the Business and 
Professional Women's organization. 

When she was able, Edna enjoyed spending time in her yard, flower gardening.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; son, Larry Russell Steidley; four sisters; and three 
brothers.

Edna is survived by her children J.D. Steidley and wife Gwendolyn of Claremore, Ted Steidley and wife 
Laura of Verdigris and Beverly Steidley and husband Ernie Smart of Tulsa; daughter-in-law, Shirley 
Steidley of Claremore; grandchildren, Larry Wayne Steidley, Dwayne Steidley, Melody Framel, Ernie 
Smart IV and Larry Russel Steidley Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
