Rev. Charlie Lehman will officiate. June will be buried at Dick Duck Cemetery in Catoosa with full military honors. Friends may visit from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. June passed away Thursday, July 18, 2002 at his home in Langley. Born May 12, 1922 at Park Hill, Okla. to Ned and Ida Myrtle (Nave) Still Sr., June was a descendant of Chief John Ross of the Cherokee Nation. June was a veteran of World War II and belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, DAV, VFW and American Legion. June's favorite pastime was fishing, regardless of whether the fish were biting or not. He was a compassionate and caring man who loved people and will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, who he married in 2002, of their home; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Connie Still of Foyil; daughter, Denise Still of Woodward; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Sherry Still of Claremore; sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Hugh Howard of Tulsa; sisters, Ella Mae Hinkle of Ponca City and Eva Brown of Tulsa; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Sammie, Cookie and Homer Still.
