Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Les Hall, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Moscow Cemetery in Moscow, Kan., by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors. Mrs. Starr was born Aug. 20, 1937, in the Indian Hospital in Claremore, Okla., to Willie Lasley and Ruby Bolden Seabolt. Doris went to school at the Seneca Indian School in Wyandotte, Okla. She then went to Satanta, Kan., and later graduated from high school in Moscow in 1956. On Nov. 1, 1956, Doris married Billie D. Starr in Perryton. Mrs. Starr was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Starr was preceded in death by one brother, Lynn Seabolt, and her father, Willie Lasley Seabolt. Survivors include her husband; her mother, of Hugoton, Kan.; two sons, Billie D. Starr Jr. of Stillwater, Okla., and Cody Sequoyah Starr of Shattuck, Okla.; two brothers, Billy Seabolt of Tulsa, Okla., and Loye Seabolt of Big Cabin, Okla.; three sisters, Wanda Bean of Moscow, Sadie Breuer of Borger and Dee Rayl of Hutchison, Kan.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
