All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Surnames: SCHMOLL, BCBRIDE, RAINES, LAMB, WIGGINS, WITTER, DRALEAUS from 1-20-2003 Examiner Enterprise Van Dorn "Toby" Schmoll Mr. Van Dorn "Toby" Schmoll, 67, retired contractor and resident of Bartlesville, died at 3:35 PM on Friday at the Medicalodge of Dewey Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Michael G. McBride of the Highland Park Baptist Church officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Veteran's of Foreign Wars 5th District Rifle Squad. Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Mr. Schmoll was born March 26, 1935 at Chelsea, Oklahoma to Clarence William and Dorothy Frances (Raines) Schmoll, Sr. He was raised and received his education in Bartlesville. Mr. Schmoll entered the U. S. Army in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1959. He was married to Jo Lamb on December 10, 1960 at Bartlesville. Mr. Schmoll was employed with Hodges Electric for several years before and after his military service. He started the Schmoll Construction Company in 1960 and operated it until his retirement in 1998 due to ill health. He was a member of the Silver Lake Baptist Church, the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge and the Elk's Lodge. Mr. Schmoll was involved in Micro Midget Racing and has won several national titles and loved fishing. Survivors include his wife Jo Schmoll of the home; one son Van Dorn Schmoll, Jr.; one daughter Christy Ann Wiggins of Ramona; his mother Dorothy Frances Schmoll of Nowata; one brother Clarence William "Buddy" Schmoll, Jr., and his wife Charlotte of Sun City, Arizona; two sisters Mary Ann Witter and her husband Milo of Nowata, and Deborah Elaine Schmoll also of Nowata; two granddaughters Tessa Marie Wiggins of Ramona, and Cynthia Lynn Wiggins Draleaus of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and special friends Mark and Sherry Draleaus also of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews.
