Wayne was a member of Grace Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Rick Scroggins will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Rice Funeral Service. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday. Wayne passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002. He was 60. Wayne was born May 30, 1942 to Wilma and Burton Woods in Claremore, where he lived until moving to Chelsea, 10 years ago. Wayne was a brick mason, learning the trade from his father. He and his brother Larry worked together for several years. Wayne retired last year. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially his horses and team roping. Wayne is survived by his wife, Nancy, his mother, Wilma Woods, daughters, Suzanne and husband David Redden of Claremore, Penny Gilliland and husband, Mike of Claremore, son, David Woods and wife, Tracy of Tulsa, seven grand- children, Blake, Jack, Kaleena, Brandy, Anthony, Brady and Brittany, three step-children six step-grandchildren, sisters, Bernice Ragsdale and husband Gerald, Geraldine James and husband Jessie, brother Larry Woods and wife Leota, three nieces and five nephews.
