Dennis Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa under the direction of Musgrove- Merriott-Smith Funeral Service. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cynthia passed away early Tuesday morning, May 21, 2002 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 61. The daughter of David Ray and Esther Pauline Bozarth London was born June 27, 1940 in Tulsa. She graduated in 1958 from Tulsa Central High School. Cynthia has been a Claremore resident for the past 27 years. She was retired from Burgess Norton Manufacturing Company in 1999. Cynthia was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder, had been on a recent mission trip and was a volunteer for the Manger. She was a longtime member of the Night Timers Extension Homemakers and had participated in many projects, including the Youth Shelter, Domestic Abuse, the teddy bear project for the Claremore Police and Sheriff Departments and Toys for Tots. She was an excellent seamstress who used her talents to make lap blankets, layettes for babies and clothing for school children for those in need. Her other volunteer work included the Red Cross, Salvation Army and the Literacy program. She cared deeply for her family, church and community and used her time and talents with others in mind. Cynthia is survived by her children, Terry Williams of Tulsa and Teresa and husband Steve Lahr of Claremore; brothers, David London of Tulsa and Roger London of Grove; grandchildren, Serena Lahr of Tulsa and Jason Lahr of Claremore.
