Eugene Albert Johnson are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. T.J. Fixico and Rev. Billy Barnett will officiate. Burial is set to follow at Res- thaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. A wake service is scheduled for Sunday evening at Indian Na- tions Church. Johnson died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001 at the age of 71. He was born Aug. 30, 1930 in Shawnee to Steve Johnson and Jane (Johnson) Davis. He graduated from Dale High School in 1949 and attended one year of college at Oklahoma City University. Johnson was employed with the International Paper Company in Oklahoma City. He also worked for HGP Company for 20 years. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served 36 months in the Ko- rean War with the 332nd Engineer Aviation Battalion Company. Johnson was a member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe and In- dian Nation Baptist Church. He served as a deacon at Snake Creek Indian Baptist Church #2 in Seminole. He served as a minister at Riv- erside Indian Baptist Church in Tecumseh. Johnson was an ADD volun- teer chaplain at Cooper Memorial Mission in McLoud and chaplain at Carl Albert Indian Health Service in Ada. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jackie Johnson and Bobby Johnson; one grandson and one great- granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Lois Johnson, of the home; nine sons, Ronnie Johnson, Steve Johnson, Walter Johnson, and Leam Johnson, all of Shawnee, Grayling Johnson and Joe Johnson, both of Tecumseh, George Johnson, of Blanchard, and Bruce Johnson, of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Vera Vac- caro, of Rio Rancho, N.M.; 39 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; one sister, Marlene Stoliby, of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Wilbur Lee Johnson, of Huntington Beach, Calif., Tillman Johnson, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Delbert Johnson, of Oklahoma City.
