All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Wanette Cemetery--Wanette OK Anderson, Walter "Tex" Walter 'Tex' Anderson, age 66 of Yukon, passed away April 28, 2003 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Tex was born Jan. 25, 1937 in Vian, OK to Burl and Agean Anderson. Tex has been the owner and operator of Dytex Oil Producers, Inc. since 1980. He semiretired 10 years ago spending more time with his family and friends at Lake Tenkiller boating and fishing. His parents and a sister, Teresa, preceded him in death. He is survived by his love of over 27 years Erma; his dog Muffy; stepson, Bryan Burgett and wife Jacque of Yukon; 3 granddaughters, Caylin Burgett, Courtney and Chelsey Ezell all of Yukon; a special cousin, Jodie Shortridge of Battle Creek, MI; 2 sisters as well as numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 1, 2003 at the Guardian West Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Wanette Cemetery in Wanette, OK. The family will receive visitors from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Guardian West Funeral Home. Tex was an incredible person who was admired by so many; he will be greatly missed but never forgotten. GUARDIAN WEST 41 & N.
