All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::City Cemetery--Gore OK Published in Muskogee Phoenix Elizabeth “Liz” Callison 1937 - 2007 Funeral services for Elizabeth “Liz” Callison, 69, of Webbers Falls, OK, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Gore with Reverend Don Chaffin officiating. Pallbearers will be Pete Bennett, Tommy Cox, Steve Barrick, Johnny Pollard, Bill Anderson and Pat Callison. Danney Allen will be a honorary pallbearer. Burial will be in the Gore City Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. Callison was born at Milburn, OK, August 7, 1937 the daughter of Clarence Washington Williams and Evlyn (Weddel) Williams and died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at her home. Liz married Joe Howard Callison on June 7, 1953 at Fort Smith, AR, and had lived in the Gore and Webbers Falls area for the past 60 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gore. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Fay Steward and granddaughter, Rebekah Gilbert. Survivors include her husband, Joe Callison of the home, son, Larry Callison, and wife, Arland, of Gore; daughter, Jacquetta “Sissy” Horn and husband, Terry, of Gore; three grandchildren, Alisha Potts, Jeremy Callison, Grant Callison; two great-grandchildren, Aydann Potts, Larkyn Callison; two sisters, Ruth Cockrell and husband, Tuffy, Gayle Binion and husband, Dub, both of Texas. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Sequoyah County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/sequoyah/sequoyah.htm
