She was born in Salisaw, Oklahoma to George and Fannie England and Married Bufford Houser on September 21, 1935 in Salisaw, Oklahoma. She came to California in 1941 to the Sunset Labor Camp. Rosie was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Arvin. She was a loving wife and a nurturing and giving aunt. Rosie was wonderful to her great-nephews James, Matt, and Billy Wright whom she cherished spending time with. Rosie will be deeply missed by all that loved her. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 16 from 2-8 p.m. and Friday, March 17 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Arvin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday, March 17 at 1pm at the South Kern Cemetery outdoor chapel. Pastor Larry Wood of Valley Baptist Church of Bakersfield will officiate the service.
