All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Head, Lovie Bell Curtis Lovie Bell Curtis Head, age 89, passed away on September 17, 2002 after a long and happy life. She was born in Long, Oklahoma, in Sequoyah County near Sallisaw, Oklahoma, on January 3rd, 1913. Lovie was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She retired from civil service at Tinker Air Force Base in 1968. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Head and also Miley B. Curtis, first husband and father of her children. She was also preceded by her parents, Josiah R. and Maggie Morgan, and three sisters. She is survived by her loving family, daughter joy and husband, Jimmy Pruett; son, Duane Curtis and wife Darlene; daughter Linda and her husband Ken Erkman; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Ruby mullins, Gracie Weitner and Flossie Owens, all of Texas, and one brother, Marvin Morgan of Oklahoma City; plus a host of other relatives and friends. Services are 10:00 a.m. September the 19th at the Primitave Baptist Church 1200 S.W. 58th and interment at Resthaven Cemetary.
