Izquierdo, Manuel Grant

Mr. Manuel Grant Izquierdo, 81, of Bakersfield, California passed away 
March 17, 2006 in Bakersfield. Services will be Saturday, March 25, 2006 
at 10:00 a.m. at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. 
Izquierdo was born September 5, 1924 in Bakersfield, the son of Manuel and 
Ida (Butterbread) Izquierdo. He married Loretta Compton on April 1, 1956 
in Kern County. She preceded him in death on May 7, 2002 in Sallisaw, OK. 
He was a retired truck driver, a Navy veteran of World War II and a 
Catholic. Survivors are: two daughters, Phyllis Diane Balavage of Couer 
d' Alene, Idaho and Marsha Ann Barnhart of Bakersfield, California; five 
grandchildren: Shawnti, Craig, Teresa, Clifton and Laura; 1 great- 
grandchild, Zachary; two sisters, Delores Torigini of Bakersfield, 
California and Mary Calder of Bakersfield, California; one brother, Alfred 
Izquierdo of Bakersfield, California; several nieces, nephews, cousins and 
other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, 
parents; 1 son, Jerry Izquierdo; and two brothers, Louie and Joe. Manuel
