All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian MARGARET JOCHIM Published on October 19, 1994 The Santa Rosa Press Democrat Margaret Jochim, a resident of Lake and Sonoma counties since 1961, died Friday at a Santa Rosa hospital. She was 76. Born in Muldrow, Okla., she came to California in 1937 and lived in Bakersfield until moving to Marin County in 1944. She and her husband moved to Sebastopol in 1961, then to Nice in Lake County in 1978. A homemaker, she enjoyed going to garage sales, liked antiques and loved people, her family said. She and her husband, Louis Jochim of Nice, were married more than 41 years. Besides her husband, Jochim is survived by her daughters, Deanna Machado of Petaluma, Carol Genazzi of Vacaville and Betty Koenig of Rohnert Park; son, Andy "Sonny" Amerson of Covelo; sisters, Zetress Meyers of San Rafael, Lillian Chapman of Oklahoma, Pollye Delillo of Ukiah, Wilma Buxton of Ohio and Jean Dodd of Esperia; brother, Fred Howerton of San Rafael; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma. Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park in Petaluma. Memorial donations are preferred to the Redwood Empire Heart Association, P.O.
