He was born in Vian, Oklahoma, on February 18, 1938. He made his living in the trucking business for most of his life. For the last 13 years, he assisted his wife at Bob's Storage. He enjoyed racing super modified cars in Sacramento in the 1960's. He was preceded in death by his son, Tabb Jackson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and freind. He had a zest for life, a wonderful sense of humor, and will be truly missed. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Critical Care Unit at Kaiser Hospital who cared for J.C. He is survived by Carmen, his loving wife of 52 years; sons, Dennis Jackson and his wife Carol, and Jeff Jackson and his wife Amy; and daughter, Teresa Ward and her husband Dennis. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, Blake, Regina, Hannah, and Megan Jackson, Justin and his wife Kasey, and their new daughter Cambria, Jordan, and Jacob Jackson, and Derek Ward. He is also survived by his only brother, Jim Jackson and his wife Louise of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and two nephews and their families, Dwight and Randy Jackson. A Memorial Service will be held at New Life Community Church, 405 W. Lincoln, Fresno, (559) 266-2513, on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Polycystic Kidney Foundation, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 400, Kansas City, Missouri 64114-3367, (800) 753-2873.
