Lawrence on July 25, 1885 at Llano, Texas. They came to western Oklahoma in 1903 and homesteaded near Lone Oak. She was a postal employee during both administrations of Grover Cleveland and William McKinley. Survivors iclude three daughters, Kate Kennington, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. S.S. Moore of Springdale, Ark., Mrs. Marie Crawl of Sayre; one son. G.C. Lawrence, Publisher of the Woodward Daily Press, Woodward, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Mable Jordan of Dallas, Texas. Her husaband preceded her in death in 1931. The Rev. J.N. Gibble will oficiate at the services. Burial will be in the Cheyenne cemetery with the Scroggins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
